I used a palette knife and loaded the canvas with acrylic and tempera. Influence by music and nightlife in the city. This piece would look great in an urban loft.

About Robert Anderson

Robert Anderson

I am an emerging self-taught artist with a background in architecture. I have been painting for the past 10 years creating over 700 pieces of art and will continue to push my boundaries and explore new territory in my work. I work fast and intuitively on multiple pieces at once in studios inside and out. I use traditional additive painting techniques (drip, cut/paste) with subtractive methods (water, sanding and Ctrl+Z) to construct dynamic and colorful art. My current work in inspired by urban graffiti, nature's beauty, music and personal experiences. I want my work to inspire creativity.
