My first attempt to paint abstract art. Painted in architectural design studio at The Ohio State University in 1994. Consider it a progression of a theme.
I am an emerging self-taught artist with a background in architecture. I have been painting for the past 10 years creating over 700 pieces of art and will continue to push my boundaries and explore new territory in my work. I work fast and intuitively on multiple pieces at once in studios inside and out. I use traditional additive painting techniques (drip, cut/paste) with subtractive methods (water, sanding and Ctrl+Z) to construct dynamic and colorful art. My current work in inspired by urban graffiti, nature's beauty, music and personal experiences. I want my work to inspire creativity.
